We recommend for our medium to larger candles to have a minimum burn time of 3-4 hours. Always allow the melt-pool to reach the edge of the jar before extinguishing. This will allow the candle to burn evenly every time and prevent the wick from drowning "tunneling". Be sure to NEVER leave a candle unattended or in reach of children, pets or anything that can be hazardous. Allow the jar to cool completely before relighting or handling the candle.

Are our fragrances phthalate free? What is a phthalate??

All our fragrances are phthalate FREE. Phthalates are used to dissolve raw materials in apothecary goods, medicine, and fragrances. Recently there has been concern linking high levels of phthalates to health issues, especially to pregnant women and children. While there are no regulations against phthalate, however, we will NEVER work with fragrances with phthalates in them.

The levels of phthalates typically found in a candle are

not harmful to a consumer, but we decided that

cleaner is always better.

How fragrant are your candles?

We find that our small size candles will will a room nicely. For larger rooms or rooms with high ceilings we recommend our (2) 7oz candles or our wax melts which will fill the room nicely. Smaller candles are better burned at a desk or in a small space such as a bathroom or bedroom.
